Most of the newly launched mobile phones have hi-end features. Unlike, the 20th century mobile phones which only had basic features like calling and messaging, the recent ones have high-end features which attract most of the mobile users. The most common feature which is found in every mobile today is the camera which can be used for both still and video capturing. Quite surprisingly, most of the latest mobile phones with High Resolution Camera feature have fared well in the market.

This is an indication of the rising importance of camera feature in mobile phones. Now, I wish to have a camera phone after monotonously using the Nokia 3315 mobile phone. The 3315 was indeed the most durable and sought after handset. But, with the launch of various multi-functional hi-tech mobiles, it is quite obviously become boring and monotonous to use it. After using this phone for about 3 years, I finally came across some of the latest mobile phones with High Resolution Cameras. For example the Nokia N series gadgets, Samsung Omnia, Pixion and many more. I felt highly elated to notice that all of the above mentioned mobile phones have a 5 mega pixels digital camera that offers an exceptional image resolution. Not only this, these phones have a number of additional camera features like Carl Zeiss optics, auto-focus and a secondary video call camera.

With such high resolution and clarity, these camera phones can easily be used as a substitute for Digital cameras. Other than just camera, these mobiles are preloaded with seamless features like GPRS, Bluetooth and USB port for data transferring, Wi-Fi connection for fast Internet. The latest mobile phones with high resolution cameras also have a media player feature which supports AAC, MPEG4, MP3 and various other formats. It's true that camera mobiles are still unsuccessful in convincing people to replace Digital Cameras for mobile cameras. But ,the way our mobile phones have evolved over the years, it wouldn't be wrong to predict that any innovation can take place any time.
